Discover the results of the 2026 Belgian Open Championships

Over the weekend of August 15–16, 2026, Belgium’s top biathletes gathered in Elsenborn, hoping to claim the title of Belgian Champion.

After a highly competitive sprint, Sam Parmantier and Lotte Lie both secured the coveted first-place finish that would allow them to start first at the Mass Start the following day.

Unfortunately, due to the wildfires affecting the region, the senior Mass Start events had to be canceled, and the sprint results were used as the final standings.

Sam Parmantier and Lotte Lie will therefore begin this new season as Belgian Biathlon Champions.

The youth races also put on a great show, giving young up-and-comers the chance to race right before the pros on the same course.
